Find apartments and rental properties in New York that welcome emotional support animals. Know your rights under New York law and the federal Fair Housing Act.
New York has some of the strongest ESA housing protections in the country. The New York State Human Rights Law supplements federal FHA protections, and NYC provides additional local protections through the NYC Human Rights Law. Landlords must make reasonable accommodations for ESA owners, and housing discrimination complaints are handled by the NY Division of Human Rights.

We are building a directory of ESA-friendly properties in New York. In the meantime, remember that under the Fair Housing Act, most landlords are legally required to accommodate your ESA.
Help other ESA owners find welcoming housing. Submit a property and we will add it to the directory after review.
