Find apartments and rental properties in Massachusetts that welcome emotional support animals. Know your rights under Massachusetts law and the federal Fair Housing Act.
Massachusetts provides strong ESA housing protections through both the federal FHA and the Massachusetts anti-discrimination law (M.G.L. c. 151B). The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination handles ESA housing complaints. Landlords must make reasonable accommodations and cannot charge pet-related fees for documented ESAs.

We are building a directory of ESA-friendly properties in Massachusetts. In the meantime, remember that under the Fair Housing Act, most landlords are legally required to accommodate your ESA.
Help other ESA owners find welcoming housing. Submit a property and we will add it to the directory after review.
